Having plenty of time to put it off, think about it, get inspired about other people, I have finally decided to put togeather what this blog wil be about. This will be an unholy mismash of fat, fashion and americian media and cultural influnces on the gen Y. Not exaclty the most innovative idea ever, but univerisally speaking, I win in the long run.
So, has anyone seen the newest round of Subway commercials? The feature straight size people sitting around eating fast food and everytime they take a bite, their clothing fasterners fly off or their chair breaks or their excersice ball defaltes at supersonic speeds. Becasue all of those things totally happen to fat people all day every day. Not to mention straight sized people.
Here is what I see to be the problem, in movies, tv shows, commercials, fat people seem to break chairs loudly and quickly, when in reality to get a chair or excersice ball to break like that you need a sudden burst of energy or repeated wear and tear on the object to disrupt the structural intergerity. That is you have to jump on the chair or put a hole in the ball for it to break like that. It will not just break becasue you take a bite of a cheeseburger. Moreover I think it would take a lot more to break a excersice ball, but I am not sure on that, Mythbusters anyone?
Of course that is not at all what the Subway comericals are talking about. Of course not, why let science get in the way? The comercial is about how fat people do nothing but sit around and eat fast food and have embarssing things happen to them on a bisecond basis. If you you, the straight sized person don't shape up (all puns intended) you too will be a fatty boombla and break you pants and furniture. Just in case you hadn't heard that anywhere else.
This is the link straight from Youtube, the video is taken from TV, If this dosen't work use Youtube and search "Subway comercial". Try not to make fun of the kid who couldn't tell what the song was (and if you can resist you're better than me)

I don't really know how to sum this up.
"I used to think the 1812 overture was good classical music.
Where we ever that young?"
